Little gem in the heart of Killamarsh. We use this place every month either to dine in or takeaway. Food is immense, atmosphere is made all the better by the staff especially one guy who always chats to everyone and has them laughing every time (sorry I don't know your name). I would highly recommend a visit

Amazing curry house. First time back since it's been re ovated and it looks fantastic. Food tastes as good as the place looks and we learnt they definitely don't scrimp on the meat in your curry. Was absolutely stuffed. Had a Handi and the depth of flavour is incredible. Will return.

Wonderful flavours across the wide varying menu. Friendly charismatic waiting staff. Busy with a warm atmosphere. A bit more expensive than some in the local area but it's a cut above most of them and worth that bit extra.

Total gem of a place. Amazing food. Good portion sizes. Service was brilliant. Attentive but not intrusive. The booth or open table options gave choice for more privacy. Sadly no desert or coffee options, still worth going that extra mile.

Ticks all the boxes. Simply, great food and great hospitality. Place looks really nice too. Next time in the area I’ll be returning and eating in.

First time visiting, highly recommend. The staff were great, very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The portions were amazing, well worth the money. Had to bring some home with us and they gave us extra rice and a free onion bahji. All left with full and happy tummies. Couldn't recommend enough, we will be returning! Didn't feel rushed and it was nice and relaxing. Thank you

Had a fantastic dining experience at Akhtars! The food was incredible. I ordered the Mango curry with chickent. It is mild, flavorful and sweet. Beside that, the service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Kabir, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. His hospitality made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place—I’ll definitely be coming back!
